Hiph`il Imperfect3masculine singular יַרְדְּ וּמְלָכִים [Isa 41:2] and kings he causeth (him) to dominate; but apocopatic form strange, read יָרֹד (√ רדד q. v.) Ew Di Du; ᵐ5 יַחֲרִד Klo Che.
II. רָדָה verb scrape out (Late Hebrew id., scrape or draw off, out (bread from oven)); —
Qal Perfect3masculine singular ׳ר הַדְּבָ֑שׁ [Judg 14:9]b out of the carcass he scraped the honey (see GFM); suffix אֶלכַֿמָּיו וַיִרְדֵּהוּ [14:9] a he scraped it out into his palms; BuhlLex Du also ׳ר עַליְֿדֵיהֶם [Jer 5:31], namely, gifts, money, figurative for making gain (most I. רדה q. v.).
