Note. — יֶתֱזֶה אֲבָנִים בֵּית [Job 8:17] is difficult: RV renders he (it) beholdeth the place of stones (the root of the plant personified) Hengst, compare Reuss and others after ᵑ7 ᵑ6. Other renderings are: pierceth (compare חָזַז) Bö Ew Hi (יְחַזֶּה), Di De MV; between the stones it liveth (יִחְיֶה) ᵐ5 Siegf.
