I. נָוֶה noun masculine[Isa 27:10] abode of shepherd, or flocks, in poetry habitation; — absolute [27:10] +; construct נְוֵה [Exod 15:13] +; נְוַת [Job 8:6] (as if from נָוָה; or read נְוֵה ?); suffix נָָֽוְךָ [5:24], נָוֵ֫הוּ [2Sam 15:25] +, נְוֵהֶם [Jer 49:20]; [Ezek 34:14] (compare Sta§ 351 c.), נְוֵהֶן [Jer 23:3] (so Baer Ginsb; נְוֵיהֶן van d. H., plural according to Köii, 1, p. 77); —
1. a. adode, of sheep [2Sam 7:8] (|| הַצּאֹן מֵאַחַר) = [1Chr 17:1]; [Isa 65:10] (|| רָבַץ); of people under figure of sheep [Jer 23:3]; [49:20] = [50:45], [19]; [Ezek 34:14] (twice in verse) (|| מִרְעֶה רָבַץ,); of camels [25:5] (|| צאֹן מִרְבַּץ).
