1. a. of room connected with a sanctuary (בָּמָה), where sacrificial meal was eaten [1Sam 9:22], insert also probably [1:18] (ᵐ5 We Dr Klo Bu).
b. connected with Solomon's temple, where wine offered to Rechabites [Jer 35:2], [4]; compare [35:4]; [35:4] one where prophecy read [36:10] (both these apparently open, compare Gie[35:2]); compare בַּמַּרְוָרִים ֗֗֗ הַסָּרִיס נְתַןמֶֿלֶךְ לִשְׁכַּת [2Kin 23:11]; used of Levites' cells [1Chr 9:33]; = store-rooms [9:26] (|| אֹצָרוֺת), [23:28]; [28:12]; [2Chr 31:11].
