2 as type of what is quickly perishing [Job 8:12], hence figurative of perishing enemies גַּגּוֺת חֲצִיר [Isa 37:27] = [2Kin 19:26] (|| עֵשֶׂב דֶּשֶׁא,), [Psa 129:6], i.e. having no depth of root; of wicked, soon to be cut down [37:2]; with special reference to Israel's oppressors [Isa 40:6] (|| [השׂרה] ציץ), [40:7] (|| id.), [40:7]; [40:8] (|| id.), [51:12]; in simile of frail man [Psa 90:5]; man's days [103:15] (|| השׂדה ציץ).
