II. קיץ (√ of following; usually taken as = I. קיץ but connection not clear; compare Arabic vehement heat of summer, late summer (WeSkizzen iii, 90), be vehemently hot; Sabean קיטֿ summer MordtmHim. Inschr. 71; Late Hebrew קַיִץ = Biblical Hebrew, so קַיְטָא ᵑ7 Syriac ; Old Aramaic (Zinjirli) כיצא summer).
