[תַּחְבֻּלָה] noun feminine direction, counsel (probably originally of rope-pulling, i.e. steering, directing a ship, see חֹבֵּל, so Thes; see De [Prov 1:5]); — only plural and only Wisdom Literature. תַּחְבֻּלוֺת absolute [1:5] [3]t.; construct [12:5]; suffix תַּחבּוּלֹת֯ו [Job 37:12] — direction, guidance (i.e. by God) [37:12] (of thunder cloud); counsels of wicked (רשׁעים) [Prov 12:5] (opposed to צדיקים מַחְשְׁבוֺת); Generally good, wise counsels [1:5]; [11:14] (|| יועֵץ רֹב), [24:6] (|| id.); [20:18] (|| עֵצָה).
