1. divorce, repudiation: [Mat 19:7]; [Mar 10:4] (βιβλίον ἀποστασίου, equivalent to כְּרִיתֻת סֵפֶר book or bill of divorce, [Deu 24:1], [Deu 24:3]; ([Isa 50:1]; [Jer 3:8])).
