1 plural סִירִים‎ thorns, sign of desolation Isa 34:13, a barrier Hosea 2:8, on Nahum 1:10 see [ סָבַךְ‎]; הַסּ ׳כְּקוֺל הַסִּיר תַּחַת‎ Eccl 7:6 as the sound of thorns (crackling as they burn) under the pot.
