1. from that place, thence, opp. ἐκεῖσε, S. Ph. 490, etc.; of a person, τἀκεῖθεν εἰ ποθούμεθα on his part, Id. Tr. 632; ὁ ἐ. ἄγγελος Pl. R. 619b; τὸ σκῆπτρον ἐ. παραλαβόντες Jul. Or. 6.181b.
