(מֵיטָב) noun [masculine] the best, only construct מֵיטַב and as superlative; the best of a thing: כָּרְמוֺ ׳מ וּמ ׳שָׂדֵהוּ [Exod 22:4] (JE) the best of his field and the best of his vineyard (choicest fruit); ׳מ הַצּאֹן the best of the sheep [1Sam 15:9], [15]; ׳בְּמ הָאָרֶץ in the best of the land [Gen 47:6], [11] (P).
